In further efforts to continue reducing in-person visits, Rwanda has once again upgraded IremboGov to help Rwandans easily apply for permits and ePassports online.

Despite all governments across Africa lifting most lockdown restrictions, the country is still finding ways to reduce in-person visits to various offices through innovations hosted on the Irembo website.

IremboGov is the one-stop portal for e-Government services by the Government of Rwanda. Its role as a platform is the provision of Government services online with ease, efficiency, and reliability.

In a recent statement issued by IremboGov, they announced that “We are excited to announce that applying for over 60 permits Rwanda Immigration is now online. Applicants will no longer make trips to the immigration offices to apply for the various permits. Simply log on to http://irembo.gov.rw and submit your application.”
