Wena Hardware, Housing Finance Bank partner to provide affordable construction solutions

Ugandan online hardware store Wena hardware has announced a partnership with the Housing Finance Bank in a bid to bridge the construction financing gap and provide a one-stop construction solutions’ store for the bank’s customers.

According to Vaolah Amumpaire the company’s CEO, Housing Finance Bank customers can now buy their constructions using both Mastercard and direct bank deposits. 

“This is not only convenient for customers but also cost-effective. As a one-stop-shop for construction needs, Wena will serve all the bank’s customers with materials through the Wena digital store and deliver them to the clients’ sites”

Vaolah Amumpaire, CEO Wenahardware told Afritechpost. 

Wena is Uganda’s pioneer online hardware store for buying construction materials and also provides industry prices to all those constructing. The partnership will see Wena clients easily access financial top-ups or loans as well to ease up on construction. 

“The bank is willing to finance customers buying / willing to purchase construction materials from Wena”, Vaolah confirmed. 

With Wena mainly targeting Ugandans in the diaspora, the partnership seeks to help them easily purchase products remotely, pay directly through bank accounts with a host of additional options.
