Zoom has announced a new touchscreen device specifically designed to ease working from home.
It looks like the sky is only the limit for the video-conferencing company that blew up in the wake of the coronavirus pandemic amidst many businesses struggling and others closing.
The new device called Zoom For Home DTEN ME will be available on the market in August and starts shipping to Africa and the rest of the world in the months that follow.
Zoom partnered with DTEN to launch the easy to setup device. It basically comprises a 27-inch touch screen with three built-in wide-angle HD cameras and an 8-microphone array, so all you need is to unbox and place, then get started.
Furthermore, the device runs on DTEN OS with Zoom’s own purpose-built Zoom for Home software interface installed thereby allowing easier logins via any Zoom user account.
For any connections to external devices, for example, larger displays, DTEN ME features an HDMI port, with an ethernet port and integrated Wifi capability to connect to any internet.
